Yesterday, San Jose Evergreen Valley College hosted an open house for auto dealers around the region to praise the new Automotive Technology program as well as the building that Lionakis designed. In the beginning, Lionakis challenged the college that this building didn’t have to be the “barn at the back of the campus” but instead the best building on the campus.

The college accepted the challenge and now the building is targeted to be LEED Platinum. Lionakis wants to thank everyone involved in this project that made it happen, including Kyle Lamb and Brian Burns for their design work, GabeWon for being the man in the field and Danuta Drozdowicz for her sustainability expertise.
