Continuing our series of speakerships with BISNOW this year, Principal, Scott Mackey, spoke yesterday at the Future of Healthcare event held at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. Healthcare real estate professionals and top level health system executives gathered together to discuss many topics that are currently at the forefront of healthcare right now including the future of outpatient care facilities, the development of medical office buildings, advancements in technology and hospital expansion. Additionally, panelist covered topics about the strategic use of real estate as a tool for health systems to reach more patients, the fact that patients are playing a larger role in their own choices of wellness and healthcare, and the fact that surgical centers, senior housing, outpatient clinics, wellness centers and even drug stores are also playing a larger role in the health and welfare of Millennials Baby Boomers and their parents.
