When we heard that Kaiser Permanente was ready to award Lionakis with a Design Excellence Award for our work on the Kaiser Roseville Behavorial Health Expansion Project, it was a shining moment for our amazing and multiple award-winning team.
This project has already been recognized with an award from the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) in the Ambulatory – Special Clinic Category, so the continuing accolades as a Kaiser Preferred Provider is the icing on the cake!
To honor the design, architectural and structural teams that were the key players on this project, Lionakis had a special photo shoot, team lunch and barbecue and lots of sharing with the new hand engraved blown glass award.
The interior design concept for the Roseville Behavioral Health Expansion was “Town to Trail,” which represents the idea of creating a community space that facilitates interaction and togetherness as well as providing serene passageways to promote recovery and rehabilitation. Inspired by the surrounding areas of the City of Roseville, the design provides connections to the outdoors through the use of materials and daylighting solutions while creating opportunities for members to meet, interact and engage with one another in a community type setting.
Congratulations team on a phenomenal project finish and the well deserved awards helping to recognize your skills, time and commitment to designing a better future.
