On May 15, Dennis Guerra, Associate Principal in the Education Market, celebrated a milestone of 30 years with the firm. Lionakis colleagues, family and friends gathered to recognize and celebrate Dennis for his unwavering dedication, accomplishments and service accompanied by toasts and a cake cutting. Memorable moments captured throughout the years, as well as amusing stories were shared by colleagues, including some who have been by his side for nearly all three decades. Reminiscing on the days of performing mylar design drawings to “slamming ink in the bull pen” at Lionakis’ previous Sacramento office location, the last thirty years have been quite the journey. Dennis has been an integral part of Lionakis’ success story, including leading design teams to the successful completion of many award-winning community college projects throughout California.
