Today we celebrate Laura Knauss-Docous’ 25th year with Lionakis. Colleagues gathered around to make a toast, show their appreciation and to commemorate this career milestone. In addition to the handful of people who made speeches recounting their memories of Laura throughout the years, we also asked a few of her colleagues some fun questions to help celebrate this event.

What is your most fond memory from working with Laura?
I have many fond memories of working with Laura, like when she joined the firm pregnant with her daughter Marika. Also when I saw her facilitate a large group of people in a community meeting for the first time. I was mesmerized by her ability to manage a crowd, keep them focused and directed to the intended goal…and they all enjoyed the experience.
But my fondest memories are the many Christmas parties that Laura has hosted at her house. She is the consummate host, loves the people we work with and enjoys a good party.

Three words to describe Laura:
Expertise- She knows more about education that 10 other people combined
Facilitator- She can really handle a crowd
Mother- She has a nurturing spirit for both her own children who have grown up with Lionakis and will all the other people she works with
