Lake Tahoe Community College PE Building and Culinary Complex

This project includes a new Physical Education (PE) building and a Culinary complex addition that provides dining and food service facilities. The PE building is a traditional ringed facility with the gym located in the center and smaller facilities around the perimeter. Located on the southern end of campus, the 25,000 square foot building includes a basketball/volleyball court, dance and exercise studios and locker rooms. Almost every space in the building has windows to provide views during cold winter months when students and faculty cannot use the exterior facilities. The food service facility is designed for multi-use as a kitchen for production and as a teaching kitchen. The dining facility is split into two rooms (a large main room and a small dining room) to accommodate daily use and special events.
