Natomas High School Administration Building

Natomas High School’s dark and maze-like Administration Building was not equipped to handle increased student and visitor traffic and lacked 21st century amenities. A tight schedule and small budget prevented a complete renovation, so Lionakis worked with the administration staff to prioritize how to provide the greatest impact in just three months. The new space is an airy and open environment with custom graphics to promote school spirit and Nighthawk pride. Reclaimed daylighting, and strategic relocation of two shear walls transformed the building, creating a more inviting and functional space to support student, staff, and visitor needs alike.
