South Sacramento MRI

This project, located in the Imaging Department on the first floor of the South Sacramento Hospital, converts approximately 2,500 square feet of the existing Film Library, offices and a reading room to create a new MRI suite and a shared office The MRI Suite was divided into multiple safety zones including Zone 1–Uncontrolled areas accessible to public; Zone 2–Interface between Zone’s 1 and 2 for patient screening and prep; Zone 3–Controlled area / magnetic field and Zone 4–MR scanner magnet room.
