Walnut Elementary School

The project includes four classroom buildings, a multi-purpose building that includes a music room, a learning resource center, and a kindergarten building. In addition to music programs, a studio provides space for student generated video production. The classroom buildings and multi-purpose building are arranged around a “village green” that allows for curriculum-based outdoor classes, and student performances; it functions as the heart of the school. The classrooms, with high ceiling, colorful walls, and natural day lighting are both functional and inspiring places to learn.
