It’s time once again for the Summer 2021 Student Sketch Competition! Contest is open to all students and 2021 graduates. We want you to be inspired by spaces and the architecture around you! Sketch the form, space, light and order that inspires you. It could be anything; a public monument showing the rhythm of columns, the façade of a house walking through the neighborhood, or the way the sunlight comes into your living room and interacts with your furniture. Any type of hand media is welcome, but will need to be submitted digitally, so think through how best to capture your sketch whether in photos or scans. DUE DATE: FRIDAY AUGUST 20, 2021
1ST PLACE PRIZE: $1,000
2ND PLACE PRIZE: $500

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• Your sketch must be in PDF format
• Sketch must be done in hand media (pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor, etc.). Computer-aided art work not permitted
• Give your sketch a title on the PDF
• Sketch subject should be architectural in nature (façade, interior room, light into a space, furniture arrangement, etc.)
• No identifying information (where/what the sketch is, or your name/contact information) should be on the PDF
• Sketch must be original (not a reproduction of another sketch/copyrighted material)
• Entrants must be a student currently enrolled or 2021 graduate of an architecture or design program
• 1 Entry max per person
